Change is inevitable - except from a vending machine. ~Robert C. Gallagher
First of all, I want to thank the people that showed up for the Spring Clean-Up. Doug and Patty did a tremendous job along with other volunteers. But after that, they both put in new back posts for the horseshoes. Thank you, and thanks to everyone that helped that day. While on this part, thanks to Ashley for cleaning out the fire pit. Jeff “Nugget” has been doing various items including: painting and working on getting the flagpoles painted. This greatly helps our Moose Lodge. Also, Tom Jett just put up a new rim for the basketball backboard. A new volleyball net has been shipped and the playing field will be tilled. And let’s not forget Waldo, who does trimming and patio cleaning on his own time. Then there are the men’s and women’s boards that are constantly volunteering their time. This is a Lodge, and as such, is always looking for people to give a hand.
Get ready to see some orange barrels around the Lodge; construction starts June
9th. New tile flooring will be installed in both bathrooms and the offices. New urinals in the men’s restroom and the parking lot will have some work done to them as well this summer. During this time there will be some restroom switching so besides dodging orange barrels, make sure you are using the appropriate restroom. Lane changes will be posted!
Our prayers go out to Keith Cole and Gary Fuller.
